Trade Winners and Losers of Season 2 Empty Trade Winners and Losers of Season 2

Post by Tails Fri Dec 02, 2011 3:26 am

So far, We have seen alot of trades! Some were great deals while others were were confused us. I will list my Winners and losers of trades for season 2.

Losers

1. Dallas Cowboys- Trading your future RB and your best defensive player were confusing enough but then sending WR Dez Bryant away for Steve Johnson was reason for outrage in Dallas. We dont know the reason behind these trades other than the owner said those players had locker room issues and he had to deal them away. I think he traded his superbowl chance and now will have to go right back to rebuilding mode.

2. Buffalo Bills- The team that needed to make moves more than any team made none. Trades for a QB like Romo or Jason Campbell werent offered nor made. This team still has alot of holes that wont be filled until offseason but its fan base will suffer another losing season without any key moves or signings.

3. New York Jets- Jets are only on here for 1 reason... Prince. After trading Revis away and getting Prince via that 3 way trade, They ship Prince away for an Aging LB and TE and 3 unproven defensive players. They need someone on that offense besides Santonio to help Sanchez.

4. Cincinnati Bengals- Trading for Peyton Manning is usually a win. But Peyton has already hinted that this is his last year and Bengals owner pulled the trigger for him sending a franchise WR and QB for him and not even getting a draft pick in the mix. Simply put Bengals made a trade that may be looked at as the worst trade in the past 2 seasons.

5. St. Louis Rams- This team might go 0-16 but they had a chance to make plenty of moves. We know Boldin from the Ravens and Bess from the Phins were being shopped before the deadline and Rams didnt make a move on either of them. They also didnt address the CB situation even with Titans CB Sean Smith on the block as well. They didnt fill any needs and didnt help their franchise QB at all.

Winners

1. Miami Dolphins- The surprise of the season thus far made some good moves getting draft picks and trading for DeMarco Murray and Taiwan Jones. This team is loaded with young talent and have draft picks to add more talent in the years to come.

2. Minnesota Vikings- At first, they would be on the loser list but, Shipping Manning for a Franchise QB and WR, Trading for 2 great young LB's in McClain and Spikes made me say wow. Great trades that may have rebuilded this team right before our eyes.

3. New Orleans Saints- Grabbing Dez Bryant, Prince, Tambi Hali, Jay Ratliff, Davone Bess.. Need I go on? Great moves to better this team.

4. Cleveland Browns- Browns finally have a offense! Trading for D-Jack and Brian Hartline have done wonders for this team. They came within 1 point of upsetting the Steelers. Browns are looking to be the surprise of the AFC. I also like the moves for veteran CB's Ced Griffin and Winfield. Great moves to help this team out.

5. Green Bay Packers- This was a tough choice but Demarcus Ware was a big player to grab and just toughen that Packer D even more. This team doesnt need any help but it helped its self alot by trading for a game changer like Ware.

5a. Atlanta Falcons- Trading for AP and Percy was just enough to make the list. Now they just need to win.

Atlanta nowhere to be on this list? Adding Adrian Peterson, the interchanging 1,2 league leading in rushing. I know, I did not make a bunch of moves....just one BIG one. Stats prove it !
