Bruce Arians Fined

The NFL has fined Arians $800,000 for his comments after the Cardinals lost to the Chicago Bears. "That was the worst officiated game in NFL history, including The Fail Mary. The officials took 14 points off the board and took 110 yards of total offense off the board for us. Gave them two first downs that led to ten points and took two third down conversions from us" said am aggravated Arians. "I mean how in the hell does the center hold on a HB screen pass?" "He didn't even touch a Bears defender." Arians is referring to a 3rd quarter penalty that took away an 50 yard TD pass that would of cut the Bears lead to 3. The Cardinals would later punt after an offensive pass interference took away an 3rd down conversion.

Alshon Jeffery carried the Bears offense with 5 catches for 137 yards and 3 TDs. He constantly was wide open beating the vaunted Cardinal secondary with ease. The Cardinal run defense was absolutely wonderful holding the Bears to -4 yards rushing.

The Cardinals had an opportunity to win game. But an 3rd down and 4th down pass was dropped by the Cardinals WRs. The Bears then converted on an 3rd and 7 by running a draw up the middle for 8 yards. Cutler then took 3 knees to end the game.

For the Cardinals this was just an ugly game from penalties and turnovers. The offense couldn't get going because of the penalties. EJ Manuel, making his second start for Arizona, had terrible stats but didn't play to bad. He finished 20-41 251 yards 2 TDs and 3INTs. The running game didn't have much success Ellington finished with 7 attempts for 21 yards and CJ2K had 10 yards on 4 carries, but had an 25 yard gain called back for holding.

With the 27-21 lost Arizona falls to 1-1 and will be back at home next week facing the 49ers (0-2). San Francisco lost 16-3 to the Pittsburgh Steelers this week.
