A Look at the Bills Season 2
The past few seasons for Bills fans have been disappointing, as not only the fans, but the team expected nothing short of a Lombardi Trophy. Making it into the AFC championship 4 times in the past 4 years with 2 consecutive Super Bowl appearances is something to be proud of, but do they have what it takes to finish the season number one?
On offense they certainly have the weapons to do it. E.J Manuel is an elite Quarterback, who recently has been paid like one. Steven Ridley has been outstanding in the backfield, probably the NFL's best back, IF he can stay healthy. The weapons continue on offense with Wide Receivers like Sammy Watkins, Hunt, and Jamison, and even Donavon Hagen who is transitioning from Wide Receiver to TE this year. The Bills offensive line is changing as they have lost their center, and King Dunlap is making an unusual transition from Left Tackle to Center this year, but I think the Bills offensive line will manage.
Defensively Luke Khuekly is the heart and soul of the Bills. He has excellent fundamentals and has a knack for creating turnovers. The second middle Linebacker Brody French is quickly following in his footsteps as he won Defensive Player of the year last year. The secondary of the Bills is set with Stephen Gilmore at CB and Williams at Safety, with a young promising McDonald rookie as the other corner. The Bills Defensive line is also in a developing stage as they lost their veteran Defensive Tackle Kyle Williams in free agency, but Hughes is an exceptional Defensive end who will lead their front.
Overall The Bills have many weapons and playmakers all over the field. I predict them to finish with a 13-3 record with guaranteed playoff spot if not a division victory and first round bye, they'll have to go through New York to get a division title this year.
