A look at the Bears (Season2)
QB: The qb situation looks like an open battle Between veterin Alex Smith and Rookie Joe Fleming; Both are pretty similar in attributes but Smith has the advantage in overall quality , look for the bears to transition the season over to Fleming if Smith falters early.
HB: Matt Forte Is teh Back in charge here , unfortenetly for the bears it seems that he has lost a step (and 3 speed points coming into this season) This position could be a problem in the future as their youngest running back Ka'Deem Carey has only 81 speed , which could be a problem.
FB: the Fb Tyler Richardson (rookie) looks like hes a good rookie with potential
WR: The Bears have a lot of big body , All the WR's have over 92 CIT and can hold onto the ball , but they seem to lack speed with Dwayne bowe having only 69 speed and Alshon being the fastest with 89 speed.
TE: Martellus Bennet looks like a solid TE for now with Decent stats around the board. Former Cardinal Tony Meaoki is the backup with some decent stats , look for tony to contribute more then expected.
O-Line : the Rookie Daevon Burch looks like a good edition to the roster, the Oline seems like it will get the job done for the Bears , they could probaly use an upgrade at the RT
LE: Lamarr Houstan is a beast should do work at this position
RE: Jared Allen is getting rather old so the pick of Jude Adeniji is solid for the transition to him being the starter
DT: Kawann Short and Pat Simms hold up the middle, They seem like they do a decent job in that role They both have solid stats for a DT
LOLB: Jason Worilds is a nice pass rushing OLB he should do a good job getting after the qb
MLB: the mlb's on the bears have solid hit power , I'm intrested in who he is starting because his younger guys deffinetly have the speed advantage over the vets , but the vets hold the pursuit, blockshed , so it will be intresting who is started here , if its Henderson+Alexander or Bostic and Patterson
ROLB: the 4 guys he has here all seem very similar to me , they all have similar speed (range 77-80) while the rookie Miles actually has 91 powermove which is pretty nice. I think that miles might be a my starter here because he is similar to kruger in raw stats and is younger for the future
CB: This for me would be a spot for concern , the speed on the cb's ranges from 89-81 so they probally will not be able to keep up with the faster WR's , another area of concern here would be the age of the CB's ass 3 of the cb's are over the age of 31 , however if they manage to keep up with the WR's they do have decent coverage stats.
FS: Rookie Montell Craig is what highlights this position, the rook has 93 hit power and is looking to be an intimidating force over the top
SS: THe starter is R.Mundy I would watch out for rookie SS Walker Hankerson to take his job , Hankerson is a little more raw but is a rookie and has room to grow while R.Mundy is 30, look for Hankerson to steal the job as starter here.
