Following the sale of the team from former owner, Alex Spanos, to the new mystery owner one could easily expect change to happen. This is certainly change. Anonymous sources inside the Chargers organization or rather what is left of it is saying that ownership has accepted the resignations of nearly the entire front office in a move that will be scrutinized for seasons to come. Names coming out in reports come from the top and go to the bottom.

The resignations:

A.J. Smith - Executive Vice President-General Manager

Ed McGuire - Assistant GM & Executive VP of Football Operations

Tricia Campanella - Coordinator of Football Administration

Jimmy Raye - Director of Player Personnel

Dennis Abraham- Director of Pro Scouting

John Spanos - Director of College Scouting

Chris Hobbs - Executive Assistant-Player Personnel

Travis Lash - Assistant-Player Personnel

Arthur Hightower - Director of Player Development

Jeremiah T. Murphy - Executive Vice President

Jeanne M. Bonk - Executive Vice President - Chief Financial Officer




It is unclear at this time who new management expects to replace these people with. Calls to the officially listed headquarters of the Chargers, the offices of D&T, have been left unanswered.
