After a successful 2014-15 season that ended with a Wild Card Playoff spot the Cardinals are expecting big things. In fact Madden 16 has predicted a Steeler/Cardinal Super Bowl 50. The biggest change of the off season came in the front office. Former owner Bill Bidwill has sold the team to Braxton Hayes.

Hayes is a former player who also won the mega $200 million lottery last week. Hayes was asked about his inexperience in running a NFL team and his response was "I have played Madden since I was 10. I have won multiple Super Bowls in Madden being an owner so this won't be much different."

The new owner has already made a couple of trades to change the line up to more what he likes. First the Cards traded WR Malcom Floyd, HB David Johnson, MLB Duane Bucannon, and the 3rd pick to Miami for their WR Jarvis Landry, LOLB Koa Misi, CB Tony Lippett, and their 2nd rd pick. "We will miss David Johnson, but the addition of Landry was worth the trade and also LOLB Misi will help bolster our already strong defense. Next the Cardinals sent two offensive lineman to Dallas in exchange for rookie La'el Collins among other players and Dallas' 2nd rd pick. The Pats and Cards also exchanged players with Jamie Collins and Malcom Brown coming to the desert for two draft picks and WR John Brown. The last trade made so far in Arizona involved a quarterback. Arizona traded their 2nd rd pick to Buffalo for their 3rd rd pick and QB E.J. Manuel. This trade might be the biggest trade of the off season since Carson Palmer went down with an injury.

Arizona is not done in the trade market according to Hayes. Some notable players on the block are QB Carson Palmer, HB Chris Johnson, and WR Jaron Brown. With additions of Collins, Brown, Landry, Manuel, and Misi Hayes expects a division title and a deep playoff run for Arizona this year. But like has been the last couple years Seattle will be the Cards biggest threat with the Rams and 49ers also improving a lot. The NFC West will be a tough division this year.

Week 1 of the Braxton Hayes ownership went according to plan as the Red Birds defeated the Who Dats 20-14. The game took a weird with 30 seconds left before halftime. Arizona was up 14-0 and in full control when a pass hit the hands of Cardinals WR Brown and fell into the hands of Saints rookie Stephone Anthony for a touchback.

After the int momentum change. The Saints on the opening drive of the second half went 80 yards on 2 plays. Brees found a wide open Cooks who beat the Honey Badger on a slant for a 74 yard TD pass. Cooks and Snead finish each with a TD catch for the Saints. Sneads TD cut the Red Birds lead to 17-14.

Arizona was able to add another FG to stretch the lead to 20-14 and then pick off a Drew Brees pass to seal the victory. After the game Bruce Arenas was not please with his teams effort. He thought they could of beaten the Saints much worse.

Next week the Cardinals travel to Chicago to face the Bears.

Stats:
E.J. Manuel 17-23 250 yards 0 TDs 1 INT
Andre Ellington 18 carries 132 yards 2 TD's 3 catches 69 yards
Chris Johnson 7 carries 31 yards
Larry Fitzgerald 4 catches 52 yards
Jarvis Landry 4 catches 60 yards
Rashad Johnson with 1 pick
Patrick Peterson 2 drop picks and 4 pass defenses
